I have finally started on my Christmas shopping.... I went downtown with my neighbor.... I took 100.00 with me as I was determined not to go over my budget.... I had about 6 people on my list for today..I did very well. We went to this store called ABC and there I found my son's grandmother a pajama set for $6.99.... Its a flannel pajama with with a Christmas pattern... very cute and warm...Next we went to Conway and there I found some pretty little girls pajamas for 5.99 ..So I got each girl a pajama and then I found a 9 piece Disney Princess bath set includes garbage pail, sponges, soap dish, toothbrush holder, mirror, brush, comb, soap dispenser and I forget what else but all it cost me was 2.99...which was GREAT buy..so I picked up 1 for each girl as well. For my baby niece I found a pretty jean outfit for 6.99 and then I also got 2 sleepers for 1.99 each and NUBY sippy cup for 1.99..You cant go wrong with these prices... for my neighbors daughter I got her a Raven doll(shes that little girl who has a show called That's so Raven) I got her for 6.99. All together I spent about 70.00 which is not bad at all. I still have to get my other baby niece and then my 2 sisters and my mom... My children I most likely will get tommorow.
When I picked up my kiddies from school I noticed that my older son was upset. SO I asked him what was the matter. He didnt want to tell me. SO I asked his teacher, She was like OHH let him tell you since he wants to open up his mouth and tell you when I wasnt even going to mention anything...SO I'm looking at her with a face and she can tell that I am getting upset... SO he tells me that she yelled at him because he asked this little girl if she knew how to spell UNIP(now dont ask me what it means because frankly I dont know.... since there is no such word) Anyway this little girl apparently has a messed up mind because she goes and tells the teacher...Ms Coleman Dylan keeps on asking me if I know how to spelll UNIP.... So the teacher says what does mean..Because she knows as well that there is no such word..So the little girl tell Ms Coleman come on you know what it means........ I guess in this little girls mind hse sees this as a sexual word...SOOO the teacher instead of telling the little girl , Listen there is no such word so dont make a big deal out of it...She starts to yell at my son telling him that he should know better..that he shoudnt talk like that in her class... ETC ETC..NOW I'm PISSED WTF this shit is not even a word!!! SO I tell the teacher Listen I dont know where Dylan got this word but you and I both know that this does not even exist.. It should nt have been a big deal and the girl shouldnt have taken it the wrong way now if she wants to be too sensitive then thats her problem but my son had no reason to get yelled at...SO the teacher goes on to tell me "But Dylan knows there is a time and place to joke around and he shouldnt have been joking around while we were working on a project... I said"that I understand and I will address that issue but as far as you making it sound like he was trying to be nasty is not right... She says I wasnt even going to tell you anything since it wasnt a big deal..well apparently her ass thought it was a big deal becuase her stupid ass yelled at him!!! SO I told her listen my son tells me everything.... AND I'm glad he does!!! WTF I dont understand teachers nowadays.... Her being the teacher should have been like "Listen there is no such word so both of you stop the nonsense."... Unbelievable!!!! SO I basically let her know that I do not appreciate her making the sitaution more than what it was... Now if this shit happens again I'm not going to be too nice...I'm going to let the Ghetto come out in me LOOOL..
Well I'm going to go watch a movie that my neighbor lent me...Hope Ya'll had a good Tuesday!

You go girl how stupid was that???? These teachers...sometime I feel they break a childs will or spirt...hope things go better for him at school...I have no idea what that means either..TerryAnn
hmm, i'm not sure if someone else already told you this, but there are some words, i cant think of one off the top of my head that 'say things' when you spell them out. my little brother is always coming home with one. so anyway the whole UNIP thing could just be YOU N I PEE when you spell it out. there are a whole bunch of them. OR it could just be that your son thought of a very strange word and wanted to make that girl feel silly for not being able to spell it. not sure.
Either way, i dont think the teacher should have reacted like that!
Well done for starting your xmas shopping, only two weeks to go!!! I can't believe it. I've still got a fair bit to do. Hopefully i'll get it all done though.

Yep, the teacher was unfair...never heard the word either...and for her to yell, was uncalled for...that's for sure. No wonder your son felt bad...hope he has a better day today.
