Rants and Raves

Yesterday I mentioned that today my eccentric landlady was coming over to my house to get her rent. Well surprisingly the visit went well. She wasmt overly demanding or sarcastic like other times. She was friendly and almost human LOL. She brought me a little gift( a cosmetic bag with sample body lotions) It is cute. Everyone in the buildng decided that it was ok to have their little meeting with her in my apartment, I was a little annoyed because they each have their own place that they can invite her to. I gave her a list of things that I want her to repair She was ok with it. In that respect she is a very good landlord. Whatever needs to be done she takes care of. After she was gone I went to the supermarket again with my neighbor. I picked up a few more things mostly snacks for the kiddies. I bought a pack of oatmeal cookies and a pack of peanut butter cookies to make with the kids. MMMMMMMM good cant wait! I came home , put everything away. Then I started to cook. I made white rice, beans and pork chops in the oven. The porkchops came out very tender. Ben was very happy to come to a home cooked meal. He kept on giving me compliments about how good the food was.

Tomorrow I am going to babysit Ben's niece. She is about 11 mths old. In a way I am kind of excited but then again I am kind of nervous because of the way I been feeling.

I can't believe that my oldest son is graduating this year.  He is going into the sixth grade. UGHHH Junior High School. I am soo nervous about this. This is the time when kids think they are grown and start doing things they're not suppposed to. Also I am so scared that he will get into fights and kids nowadays bring weapons to school. At this age to they are joining gangs and stuff and these damn punks like to pick on other kids. Teachers are not able to control these kids either. I wish he could stay in his school right now forever LOL..I know I know they have to grow up. I am online everyday looking into what schools are good in our neighborhood. I am only applying to schools that have top reading and math scores and that have good reviews. My son is very smart so he is also getting applications for the gifted and talented schools so I hope that he gets accepted into one thats not too far. It is so nerve wracking to think about him getting older. I want him to be my baby forever. Soon he will be into girls UGHHHH I wonder how I will react to his first heartbreak. I read somewhere that about this age they start discovering their bodies and experimenting with masturbation. OHHH God I hope I never catch my son in the act becuase I think that I will just flipp out.. I cant imagine... I hope he isnt even thinking about it yet. "Sigh" The other day he asked me what the birds and the bees meant. I didnt even know how to begin discussing the topic. I changed the subject quickly. I know some people think that I should have been had this talk with him. Some people think its good to start talking about it when they are about 6 yrs old. I dont know but I am hispanic and that subject to us is soo TABOO.  But I think Ben and I will have to sit down with all 3 of them and talk to them about this. I dont need them talking about it with friends and being misinformed. Kids nowadays know sooo much but then again know so little. I try to keep my kids protected. I dont let them watch movies that G rated and if its PG I sit there and watch it with them. I dont let them listen to certain music. And God forbid I hear one of my children cuss, I will pop them in their mouths so fast their head will spin. I DO NOT tolerate that kind of language and I can tstand when I walking down the street and I hear how some kids speak. It's disgusting!! Some parents do care about what their children see hear or say. Which is a downright shame!! and the reason why there are so many kids running around being hoodlums. 

There was an emergency PTA meeting at my kids school because this damnn wannabe hoodlums who live across the street started beating up and robbing the little kids from the school. WHERE ARE THE PARENTS????? I make sure I bring and pick up my kids form school every day cause I'll be damned if one of these little brats lay a hand on my kids. I'm so sick of these kids and their wannabe gangs killing and robbing people. if they're so tough why sont they send these hoodlums to Iraq and let their asses fight the war for us instead of killing or hurting innocent people!! Srry for the rant!

Ben is all excited because he just bought a toy for his Ipod. Its speakers but its also an alarm clock.OMG that Ipod is his baby. He has over 3,000 songs. Who the hell needs all that music?? Right now he is enjoying his music in the shower "Sigh" MEN!

I still have to clean my kitchen.... so I guess I stop my ranting and raving now.  PS Gem if you are reading this I hope you got my email letting you know to Im me anytime you want to chat.
