This & That

I snagged this over @ Cab's Creations.  Its adorable....Ty!

My kiddies were home today. My fault because I didnt do do laundry on Sunday and they ran out of clean uniforms. I went and did laundry today so they will be going to school on the express bus tomorrow LOL....

My neighbor asked me to go with her to buy her daughter an Xmas tree..... We went to this department store called Phat Albert's...They had alot of nice xmas ornaments and decorations for cheap...She got a great deal on a 6 ft white tree. All she paid was 11.99 for the tree. She picked up a bunch of ornaments and lights and all she spent was 50.00...NOT BAD!!! My 4.5 ft tree cost me 40.00 at Target....UGGGHH if only I had known. But then again my tree is pre-lit.. She chose a pretty color theme...She decorated her tree Royal Blue and Silver....I went upstairs and she was done putting it up. It is very pretty.

I bought some Popeye's chicken for dinner. I made home made mashed potatoes and we had that with corn. Simple quick but good meal. Kids loved it.

I also found some furniture for my daughter's doll hotel. They had different sets for each room. SO I got her the living room and the salon. They were just 3.99 each set!! SHe was soo excited. After we were done eating I put it together for her. I dont know if I mentioned it in a previous entry but the other day as we were walking home from school, we passed this house and in front of the house was this huge Barbie house just sitting there. So I asked her if she wanted it because it looked to be in great condition. SHe said yes...SOO I lugged this huge thing home. My boys were kind of embarrassed. They were like Mommy why are we taking that out of somebody elses garbage??!!  I let them know that another person's junk is another persons treasure. ANND you know what when we got home into the light(it was dark outside) I seen that there was NOTHING wrong with it at all!! Someone must have either outgrew it or they had no room to store it. It is a beautiful hotel with a bunch of rooms and there were even some accesseries init. The sound still works and everything. I looked it up online and though Toys R Us no longer sells it, it cost 129.99. I GOT IT FOR FREE!! I looked on Ebay and there are some people actually auctioning off this hotel. It's called Barbies Grand Hotel.( Lesson learned ) I cleaned it up with  Lysol and now everyone loves the house and they all play together. :) No shame in my game LOL...

Tomorrow is Ben's day off and awwww he asked me if I would go ice skating with him.. I cant wait.. He doesnt know how to ice skate so this should be fun... I'll be sure to take alot of pics :)

Well I'm off to take a shower and hit the sack...
