Do you remember your first love??

It's finally here!! The day for Lovers. soon to be lovers, or Friends with benefits :)) The day we all know as Valentine's Day. Also a day that retailers love because they makes lots of money with the whole balloon,flowers ,chocolates and card thing. You know it's bad when you see your local fruit and veggie stand with a sign that say Sold flowers here!! I guess in chinese that means "We are selling flowers and Chocolates here!! You figure everybody got at least one person they love right?? LOL

                

Unfortunately my baby had to work... He didn't get here until about 10:30pm. So I was home alone all day"Sniffle Sniffle". As some of you may know from an earlier entry I was having a hard time figuring out what to get him for V Day. Wellll after careful deliberation (drum roll pleassssse) I got him a ... Card!(LOL Yes another one...Its nice though) and some Valentines M&M"s and I made up of a book of coupons(ty for the idea ;)) with some of his favorite activities inside"WINK WINK". The booklet is good for 1 week and he can choose anyone on any day and the activity can be used more than ONE  time for that DAY ONLY LOL.. I think he will enjoy this immensly, U think??? HEHEHEHEHE. I had to get creative since I am low on funds and I couldnt get him anything big..NEXT YR MY LUV.... Wait for my tax return LOL...
                                           

My Darling did get me a box of Chocolates but with all the going on's at work he seems to have forgotten it... OHH Welll I will forgive him this time because he still has a chance to make up for it on Friday, which is my Birthday. Now if he forgets my gift on this day he will be running around my front lawn trying to collect his clothes!! LOL....
                                    

Doyou ladies remember your first loves??? Do you remember how old you were?? DO you remember what grade you were in?? C'mon you can do it..... Dig deep into those memory banks..and share.. I will share mine first. I was about 9 or 10 yrs old. I was in the 5th grade. I dont remember his name(Lord do you know how long ago this was) The first time I seen him I knew that he was the one for me. Dont ask why at the age of 10 I was thinking about boys...He was the first boy I thought about LOL and I think it was because he was the cutest boy in the school. At first he paid me no mind. He was a popular boy and I was a little mousy shy girl who rarely spoke. I dont remember how we started talking but he noticed me. I was beyond happy. HE LIKED ME?? Anyway we became "boyfriend and girlfriend"... whatever that meant for a 10 yr old. We never kissed or held hands but all we knew was that we were a couple LOL... In our school there was a little store that sold little knick knacks. I remember they sold the cutest folders. I wanted one so bad. Everyone had one but I wasnt able to buy one because I never had money(my mother never had extra money to give us) Well On Valentines Day this boy comes to me with about 5 different folders from that store. They were soooo cute! Those 5 folders meant so much to me. He told me that he was going to take care of me and whenever I needed money to ask him. LOL How much money can a 10 yr old have??? I went home that da and proudly showed off my folders. I thought I might get in trouble( my mom and stepdad were very strict with me) But instead they just laughed it off and called it puppy love. I thought he would be my boyfriend forever LOL..What did I know..Welll at the end of the school Mr Lover Boy found some other pretty girl to give folders to and that was the end of that!My first heartbreak ever.. I think I even threw those stupid folders away!! LOL...I still remember the smell(the folders had that new thing smell)I KNow I'm weird right???
                                      

Which brings me to next chapter in my entry. MY BABY BOY is growing up!! Without me knowing he asked the little girl upstairs if she would be his valentine?AWWW ..How did I find out you ask?? Welll I had an idea when I heard her tell him"I will give you an answer tomorrow". I thought to myself ..HMMM is this what I think it is?? Well this morning I tell Ben .."I think your son asked T to be his valentine... He says"I KNOW he did" He told me"....I stood there in disbelief.... I mean I had a feeling but hearing it out loud made it real!..AND HEY why did Ben know before me?? I told Ben"Well dont go promoting this behavior after all he is just 10 yrs old..... To which Ben replied"Well at what age do you think we start???"..... NUH UH Not my baby boy.... SOO I did what any mother would do.. I went to the 99 cents store(hey she's not my valentine) and I got her a heart, a balloon, a lil bear photo frame and a card(hey she got more than I did at that age..I got some dammm folders LOL)...Of course I called her mother first and asked her if it was Ok...She said it was fine....all the while laughing her ass off. Of course he was nervous, he almost chickened out, had I not grabbed him he would have ran back downstairs..(hey I didnt spend all of 6 dollars for no nothing LOL) But he got it over with and that is it for this year..I wonder if she will still be his valentine for next year??? DO you know whats bad about having two boys 2 years apart...No answers??? Welll the fact that both of my sons like the same girl and they both wanted to ask her to be their valentine... But I guess when youre the oldest you get first dibs and my lil Jonathan kindly stepped back and let his brother go forward LOL.... I wouldve hated to be a witness to a duel.... He supported his big bro all the way and even walked up the stairs with maybe hoping Dylan would drop that heart and he could snatch it up and finish the job...SRRY BABY BOY next year will be your turn...

                             


So that was basically my day... All 3 of my kiddies participated in a show in their after school program ..I will post those pics tomorrow. As I am sure you gals noticed I went crazy with the Valentine graphics...Well they were all sooo cute I couldnt choose and we dont get to use them again till next yr and next yr is sooo far away sooo WHAT THE HELL WHY NOT?? I got each of my kiddies a valentine heart... for my princess I got her a balloon and for the boys I got them some mechanical pencils(Balloons for boys I think NOT)....They were very happy which in turn made me very happy!

                           




My daughter is fine. We ended up not taking her to the hospital. When Ben came home, we checked again and the rash or whatever it was was gone. There is an ending to this entry and that ending is coming now (thank god you say) I hope you all enjoyed your Valentines and dont eat that whole box of chocolates or you may find yourselves regretting it at 3:00am when you are sitting on the toilet bowl(EWWWW)I KNOW I KNOW I"M LEAVING....From me to Ya'll....
