Dammmm my entry did not save....... I had just wrote an entry. Basically I was doing my daily journal reading and I read in one of my favorite journals that there has been drama going on in J-land about someone who added pics to one of her entries. Apparently someone had a problem with it and started bitching about it. Anyway I am not going to go into specfics because it is not my business to tell. What I am worried about are the pics of my children that are in my journal. Yesterday I added some pics of them to my sidebar because I wanted to show them off and these were some of my favorites. I have seen other people with pics on their sidebars and I liked it( I know I am a biter srry). What has got me so concerned is that apparently the person who was bitching mentioned that pics of children can be used in a harmful way. Can a perverted person come into my journal and use my childrens pics for a disgusting thing?? Has this happened to anyone before?? Should I delete my childrens pics??? What do you guys suggest? Any advice would be great....Thanks! |

I just love the pictures in your sidebar, I think you have beautiful kids and a sweet niece.
I dont think you should take them down if you dont want to. of course, having a public journal there is always the fear that someone might use the pics or even look at the pics in a way no mother or decent human being would want. however i dont think you should be too worried since your journal isn't easy to come by. its mostly just people you know that you send a link to. what i would be concerned about is the pic of your niece. someone i care for greatly found herself in hot water for using a pic of someone elses child which she didn't have permission for. just check with her parents that its ok.

Well i am sure some pervert could do things like that...but so could the nut walking in the same store you shop in for food....the place you get gas...the resturant you eat at...so I think that is a call by you! I was hearing some drama going on too...hate it! Hugs,TerryAnn
I have put some pictures of my kids in my journal so I don't know what to tell you. I did put some pictures once of a family party with my brother and his wife and there young kids and someone saw them. I wasn't hiding it, didn't even think about it. But he emailed me and told me to take them down right away and of course I did. So, I think that's up to you. There are sick people everywhere. You have very cute kids.
